Child's appointments
Parents are encouraged to att the first appointment with children under 16 years old. In situations where attance is challenging, another responsible adult can accompany them during their initial visit; however, parents might be requested to att subsequent visits as well.
All Appointments
Please contact our Dental Wting List Office at 02032994988 for any changes or cancellations of your appointment. If you're unable to make an appointment, please notify us three days prior, as last-minute cancellations are difficult for us to accommodate without replacement.
Flure to att appointments might result in the return of your referral letter and a requirement to restart your treatment process by seeking new referrals from dentists or GPs.
What to Bring
Please ensure you bring along the medical history questionnre sent with your appointment letter, including detls about any medications you are taking. In case you're using warfarin, please carry your yellow INR book as well.
Interpreters and Translators
We provide an interpreter service for patients needing it on their first appointment. Please contact our Dental Wting List Office at 02032994988 to request assistance.
First Appointment Preparation
Upon arrival, head to the clinic listed in your letter and provide your name and referral letter to reception. Your punctuality is appreciated; please arrive on time for the duration of your appointment process.
What Happens at First Visit
You might undergo a range of diagnostic procedures like x-rays or other tests during this visit deping on your dental condition. If you've already undergone any, please bring them along as they will d in confirming diagnosis and proposing potential treatments.
Duration Expectation
Please anticipate sping several hours for necessary investigations which may include but aren't limited to comprehensive assessments, x-rays if required, and other diagnostic procedures based on your specific condition.
Treatment by Students
As part of our commitment to dental education, we provide trning opportunities for approximately 900 clinical undergraduate and postgraduate students and other healthcare professionals annually. You might be seen by a student during your visit who will assist the senior dentist:

If you meet certn criteria such as requiring routine treatment for fillings or minor cleanings without needing to register with an NHS dentist, we offer our wting list service.
