Dr. Wang firmly believes in establishing strong interpersonal relationships with each patient as an essential part of providing quality dental treatment. He pays close attention to every patient's individual needs and preferences and ensures open communication during consultations. His practice is centered around delivering a superior patient experience through the application of modern dentistry techniques combined with comprehensive knowledge. Dr. Wang emphasizes patient education because he understands that promoting oral health is integral to overall well-being.
Dr. Wang received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine DMD from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, which is renowned for its emphasis on digital dentistry and advanced patient care strategies. He furthered his dental trning by completing a General Practice Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, where he gned extensive experience handling diverse patient populations with complex medical conditions.
Dr. Wang actively participates in various prestigious organizations including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry AD, International Congress of Oral Implantologists ICOI, American Dental Association ADA, and the Academy of General Dentistry AGD. He recognizes the importance of continuous learning and stays up-to-date with advanced trning through Spear Education, AD, and Implant Pathway. Dr. Wang has been honored as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry FAGD and an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentists AFA. He also collaborates with experienced dentists and specialists as part of the Spear Study Club to address challenging cases.
Dr. Wang provides comprehensive dental care services including, but not limited to cosmetic dentistry procedures like bonding, crowns, veneers, dental implant treatment planning and placement, restorations, root canal therapy, full mouth rehabilitation for worn teeth, management of temporomandibular disorders TMD, extraction surgery, periodontal treatments, as well as fabrication of dentures. He is certified to provide Invisalign services.
Dr. Wang originates from Kunming, China, famously known as the City of Eternal Spring. After sping 17 years across various US cities like Denver, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Boston, and New York City, he has now settled down in Columbus with his wife, Kellie, who is also a dentist, and their dog named Bess. He feels thrilled about serving the Mentor community.
